In the box were the following.

IT COSMETICS – Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara

(MSRP: $24.00)

I love receiving IT Cosmetics in my boxys because I know whatever the product is, it’s gonna be good. This brand over-all just knows their shyt! That being said, yes it does need to be finessed to make it work but totally worth it in my opinion! My lashes for sure looked longer & fuller! I became instantly obsessed with this mascara the 1st time I used it, I’ve reached for it 2 out of 3 times since. Will I repurchase myself after I’ve run thru this tube? Idk, maybe & the only reason that’s a maybe is because $24 for a mascara I need to finesse is iffy to me.

DERMOVIA – Lace a Peel Black Bamboo Charcoal Peel Off Mask

(MSRP: $30.00)

When I initially opened this packaging I said “Ok hella extra”, but damn this mask is good! I’ve tried so many peel off masks that claim to be amazing but have never really SEEN a difference in my skin after using them, but this!! WOW! It felt a lot like I was waxing my face, which I don’t do so I do have “peace-fuzz” on my face, probably why this was painfulish to remove, BUT 100% WORTH IT! When I removed the mask I immediately tried to look at it as closely as I possibly could trying to see what was removed from my pores, I was disappointed that I couldn’t really see anything but when I checked out my skin, there was for sure a big difference. My problem area is between my nose & cheeks, that small area has legit the largest pores ever for me, & I swear these pores were so clean its like they disappeared! I don’t think the lace mask is strictly necessary to remove the mask I was able to peel away some stray pieces easily enough without it even with my long nails but it did make removal a bit easier. I will definitely purchase this for myself! Yes it’s absolutely pricey af but sooooo worth it in my opinion!

PUR – Midnight Masquerade Palette

(MSRP: 38.00)

I’m not sure how I fully feel about this palette, while I think it’s a good palette quality wise, I don’t think the color selection is all that great & it’s not really my style. This is a limited edition, supposedly face palette but I have a hard time believing you’re really getting a full face with just this palette. Of the 6 eyeshadow shades, 3 are shimmers, 2 are glitters & there’s 1 lonely matte which is too dark to even pair nicely with the rest of the shades. For the ‘face’ side of the palette there are 2 highlights? & 2 blushes, I put a question mark after highlights because I’m unsure if 1 of the highlights is meant to be a shimmery bronzer or for darker skin tones. The blushes are also shimmery, so I guess a full face with this palette is just meant to be shimmer central. Good formula but a poor execution in putting this palette together.

KAT VON D – Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

(MSRP: $20.00)

I mean hello, do I need to even say anything?! I think at this point everyone knows how great Kat Von D’s liquid lipstick formula is. I received the shade ‘Bow & Arrow’ which is so similar to ‘Ludwig’ against my complexion but it’s such a beautiful nude!

BRIOGEO – Don’t Despair Repair Strength + Moisture Leave-In Mask

(MSRP: $16.00)

I don’t want to review this product because I haven’t given it a fair chance yet. I have tried other products from Briogeo & have liked them but I’ve never tried this leave-in mask specifically. I will say I love the scent though!

Final thoughts, kinda a little bit disappointing, just slightly. *shrugs* The mascara, peel-off mask & liquid lip are absolute hits, the palette is a huge miss for me & I have no opinion on the leave-in hair treatment at the moment.

Total value of the October box is $128, for only $21!!
